A natural comic talent, John Robins is an established stand-up, having stormed the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with a new solo show every year since 2009, frequently popping up on the ‘highest reviewed’ lists, receiving numerous award nominations and taking home the award for Best Compere at the 2015 Chortle awards. John is regularly invited to perform at festivals across the globe, including Brisbane, Adelaide and New Zealand. In addition to his stand-up success John has a flourishing on-screen career having graced the likes of; ‘Mock The Week (BBC Two), ‘Russell Howard’s Good News’ (BBC3), ‘Live At The Comedy Store’ (Comedy Central) and ‘Alan Davies As Yet Untitled’ (Dave) and is a sought after writer for both television and radio with credits including; ‘Stand Up For The Week’ (Channel 4), ‘A League of Their Own’ (Sky) and ‘Nevermind The Buzzcocks’ (Channel 4). Alongside his stand-up, television and writing talents, John is also co-host of Radio X’s Chortle Award Nominated Weekend Show with fellow comic Elis James and having completed a hugely successful solo tour in early 2016, John will take to the road again, this time bringing Elis with him for the ‘The Elis James & John Robins Experience’ this autumn.
